The oldest European theatre - Hvar - Croatia
The town of Hvar has several Renaissance and Baroque palaces which today create the perfect setting for trendy summer vacations. Tvrdalj-Stari Grad - Croatia
Tvrdalj is one of the most famous buildings in Stari Grad, built in the 16th century. It belongs to the Hektorovic family, the most famous descendant of which is Petar Hektorovic, one of Croatia’s most significant writers. The concept of the Tvrdalj is interesting, since it was intended to illustrate life on the planet and has a pool with fish along with a specific area for birds. It is a somewhat unusual example of a fortified Renaissance villa and is a combination of a castle and a summer residence.

Scedro Island
The island of Scedro is one nautical mile south of the island of Hvar. This small island once had two settlements, while in 2006, there was only one person inhabiting the island – a woman. Krk

Malinska

Malinska is the second largest tourist destination on the western coast of the island of Krk, connected to the mainland by the Krcki bridge. Omišalj

Omisalj is placed on the south-western part of the Kvarner island of Krk, connected to the mainland by the Krcki bridge. The acropolis settlement, one of the oldest on the island, dating back to Roman times, is built above the Omisaljski bay. This place, traditionally oriented towards fishing and agriculture, is nowadays a tourist center known for its sports facilities, rich cultural heritage and various types of entertainment. Besides rowing and sailing, the Omisaljski bay offers many other sporting activities (tennis, mini golf, football etc.). The rocky and concrete beaches are surrounded by cypresses and pine trees. Opatija

In the 19th century in Opatija Austro-Hungarian noblemen built spacious villas and spent their winters due to very mild Mediterranean climate.
